East Atlanta native Mz. Coxx is officially in her moment, and as she puts it, it’s COXX TIME. The rising artist gave supporters an exclusive sneak peek of her upcoming EP at Harold’s Chicken and Ice Bar, turning the listening event into a full celebration of her sound, her city, and her grind.

Fans gathered to hear the project ahead of its release, while familiar faces showed love, including Mykko Montana and Nardo from Pandora, who were both in attendance to support Mz. Coxx. The energy in the room matched the confidence she brings to her music—authentic, Atlanta-rooted, and unapologetically her.

Mz. Coxx opens the three-track EP with “ATL,” a record that immediately sets the tone. Starting with the phrase “What it is, what’s up,” a saying deeply associated with Atlanta culture, the track feels like a love letter to the city. It blends multiple eras of Atlanta music into one sound, making it perfect to twerk to, vibe to, and rep the city all at once. It’s a strong introduction that lets listeners know exactly where she’s from and what she’s about.

She follows up with “Like Dis” and closes the EP with “Funds,” rounding out a tight three-piece project that feels intentional and confident. Beyond the music, the listening party itself was a standout. The choice of Harold’s Chicken and Ice Bar as the venue was spot-on, tying perfectly into her branding. From the white cups to the sprinter van encouraging guests to scan and tap into her music, every detail felt well thought out.

Atlanta loves a good time, and Mz. Coxx delivered exactly that. Between the vibes, the marketing, and the music, she made it clear she understands both her audience and her city. With consistent work and a strong sense of identity, Mz. Coxx is making sure everyone knows she’s East Atlanta all the way. 2026 is already looking promising for what she has coming next.
