Coco Jones kicks off her debut album with confidence, vocals, and storytelling that immediately demand your attention. From club-ready hits to wedding-worthy ballads, this album is a no-skip journey through love, self-worth, and power. Here’s a track-by-track breakdown:
This is an album with no skips. Coco Jones proves she’s a mega superstar in the making—confident, versatile, and vocally unmatched. From emotional ballads to club anthems to crossover pop, she delivers it all while telling a cohesive story.
In the opening track, she lays it all out—celebrating her worth while calling out anyone who doesn’t value her. She’s over the drama and just wants peace: “Keep it Quiet.” This one’s bold, catchy, and sets the tone for what’s to come. It’s a fire opener that shows Coco is standing ten toes down.
“Taste” is definitely growing on me. No matter what R&B playlist I’m listening to, it always finds its way in—and I’m not mad at it. Coco cleverly references Britney Spears’ iconic hit “Toxic,” blending R&B with a pop edge. The music video even nods to “Toxic” visually. At first, I wasn’t feeling it because of the sample—it reminded me of so much of “Toxic” —but it’s grown on me. Solid 6/10.
“On Sight” switches up the vibe with smooth, vibey R&B that feels perfect for the club or cruising in the car. It’s radio-ready, and Coco once again proves she’s a star—not just with her voice but also in the visuals. Her acting background shines through as she paints a vivid story, which the video brings to life verse by verse. Easily a standout.
She continues in her sultry, confident bag with “AEOMG,” and again, her storytelling stands out. The way she laughs in the hook makes it feel like a freestyle moment—and it works. Then comes “Thang 4 U,” which, to me, feels like the female version of Rylo Rodriguez’s track of the same name. I’ve played this one at least 50 times. It’s my favorite on the album and absolutely belongs on the radio. Coco is already dominating with her debut.
“Here We Go” is next—and it’s an instant classic. This is timeless R&B we’ll remember years from now.
Then there’s “Other Side,” which gives major wedding song vibes. Coco’s vocal range truly shines here. The beat, the lyrics, the delivery—everything just works. So far, we’re deep into the album and still—no skips.
“Why Not More?” taps into a Caribbean rhythm, and the storytelling continues. Coco questions why she’s giving everything but not getting it back. YG Marley jumps in for the feature, and the pairing feels natural. His verse is short and sweet—just the right length.
“Hit You Where It Hurts” leans into an alternative R&B sound, showing off even more of her vocal range. The best thing about Coco? She can really sing. 8/10.
“Most Beautiful Design” features Future and London on da Track. Future in his R&B bag is always a vibe, and the beat balances tempo and groove. While the track felt a bit long—and more like Future’s than Coco’s at first—she still delivers. Not my favorite, but the production is solid and her vocals still shine.
“You” is a standout love song. This could easily be her next “ICU” or “Here We Go.” It’s the kind of track you play when you’re in your feelings, thinking about your person. Definitely another potential hit.
“Nobody Exists” is a full-on pop song and a clear crossover moment. This track screams global superstar energy. Coco’s versatility is showing in the best way.
“By Myself” is an empowering anthem about self-love and independence. It’s uplifting, a perfect pick-me-up track. That message carries into “Forever Don’t Hit Like This,” where we hear Coco reflect and grow. She’s learning to love herself and beginning to question what (and who) she really needs in her life.
Finally, “Is It Mine” features Lady London, who’s also opening for Coco on tour. London floats on the beat, proving that beat selection is everything. Her verse is just long enough—not too much, not too little. It’s a strong closing track.
This is an album with no skips. Coco Jones proves she’s a mega superstar in the making—confident, versatile, and vocally unmatched. From emotional ballads to club anthems to crossover pop, she delivers it all while telling a cohesive story.
This is only her debut—and I’m already giving it a 10/10. She’s found her sound and is already dominating. Wishing her continued love and success!
